2014 Conference Wrap-Up
The 41st Annual Arizona Rural Health Conference was an energizing and inspiring event. Held in conjunction with the Performance Improvement Summit for Critical Access Hospitals in Litchfield Park at the Wigwam Resort August 7-8, 155 attendees discussed rural health, fostered collaboration, and reported on Arizona programs and projects. The presentations and workshops allowed for networking, developing partnerships and exchanging best practices with health care professionals, administrators, policymakers, state and local leaders, and others from state and federal agencies.
I thank all of the attendees, AzAHEC, AzRHA, the planning committee, and Center for Rural Health staff for putting this outstanding conference together.
I look forward to building on our successes and continuously improving rural health in Arizona!

About the 41st Annual Conference [ ARCHIVE ]
August 7-8, 2014 - Litchfield Park, Arizona
About the Conference
For the first time, the Arizona Rural Health Conference is being held in conjunction with the Performance Improvement (PI) Summit for Critical Access Hospitals.
As Arizona transforms its health system, it is crucial to foster collaboration between agencies, providers, hospitals, insurers, federal agencies, private and public clinics and other stakeholders.
The joint conference engages statewide participants and presenters with interest in rural issues, builds and strengthens partnerships, and presents projects and programs at pre-conference, general, and concurrent sessions. The PI Summit brings together Critical Access Hospital CEOs, CFOs, CNOs, Quality Managers, and IT personnel. This is a great opportunity to network, hear great speakers, visit Exhibitors, and attend the Exhibitors Welcoming Reception Thursday for refreshments and hors d’oeuvres.
