Melissa Quezada is an undergraduate senior at the University of Arizona, in the College of Public Health and a native Tucsonan. She is an intern for the Arizona Center for Rural Health. Who assists the Arizona Rural Hospital Flexibility Program (AzFlex) with reimbursement and disbursement vouchers for Critical Access Hospitals statewide, assisting with logistical Center for Rural Health items when needed. In addition attending rural health seminars, AzCRH partner meetings and training. She also has been employed with Banner University Medical Center-Tucson for over two years. Melissa received an Associate’s Degree from Pima Community College and will graduate in December of 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. Melissa hopes to improve health outcomes throughout Arizona and aspires to work in Hospital Administration post-graduation.
