Rural/Border Track

treesAbout the Program

The College of Public Health and the Center for Rural Health is currently in the process of developing a Rural/Border certificate program for MPH and DrPH/PhD students. The goal of the program is to provide experience for students with an interest in working in rural areas and the U.S./Mexico border region. Creating a specific Rural/Border program also allows the College to quantify the number of students interested in rural and/or border public health careers.

The College of Public Health is also developing a future Rural Postdoctoral program with funding through the National Institutes of Health.
