Biography

Bianca SantaMaria is a Health Education and Promotion Professional II at The University of Arizona, Center for Rural Health. Ms. SantaMaria evaluates the Overdose Data to Action grant and coordinates activities for the AHEAD CDC COVID-19 grant, Advancing Health Equity, Addressing Disparities. She facilitates Naloxone trainings in English and Spanish and provides technical assistance to rural counties in Arizona. Ms. SantaMaria is interested in digital health, health equity, healthcare systems, preventative measures, and medical informatics. Born and raised in Tucson, AZ, she completed her undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Arizona. Ms. SantaMaria hopes to pursue her PhD and continue to serve her community to create a healthier and safer environment for all.
