What is a Prezi?

Our Prezi

I’m guessing that for most of you, “Prezi” is not a word with which you are familiar. It is certainly a new word to us hereat the Center for Rural Health. Lynda Bergsma, the director ofthe state office of rural health, first alerted us to Prezis about a month ago and we liked it somuch that we decided to develop our own Prezi, led by one of our staff, David Bui.

In short, a Prezi is kind of like PowerPoint® on steroids – a novel way to tell a story throughwords and pictures. According to Wikipedia, a Prezi “is a cloud-based presentationsoftware and storytelling tool for exploring and sharing ideas upon a virtual canvas.”

We have an important story to tell –health care in rural Arizona. Check out our Prezi and let us know what you think about our story: http://prezi.com/4okidjpzchpr/center-for-rural-health/
