The Advancing Pharmacist Roles in Substance Use Disorder Treatment and Recovery Teams ECHO Program is designed to equip pharmacists, pharmacy staff, and other healthcare professionals with the necessary tools to effectively assume a critical role in SUD prevention, education, and assistance. Pharmacists and pharmacy staff from all health care settings and facilities are invited to join. We also welcome all healthcare professionals and administrators that are involved with multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.

Program Faculty and Staff
This program is run by staff from Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board. Our faculty are experts in pharmacy, substance use disorders, peer recovery, internal medicine, and behavioral health. Faculty include: Dr. Travis Townsend, Dr. Kaylee Trottier, O’Nesha Cochran-Dumas, Dr. Jessica Gregg, Dr. Ted Hall, and Dr. Teresa Grund.
Continuing Pharmacy Education (CPE)/Certificate of Completion Offered
Attendance will be tracked utilizing the CPE monitoring system. To receive continuing education credit, you must sign-in at each session and complete an evaluation for each virtual ECHO clinic attended via SurveyMonkey. ACPE to close 30-Sept 2021 for reporting and issuance of contact hours. The course will be renewed in October with a determination related to repeating core curriculum based upon participation. Participants are required to attend at least 5 ECHO virtual clinic sessions AND present at least 2 cases to obtain Certificate of Completion. Cases may be patient or systems-focused as noted above.
