TJ Reed has worked in the poverty/homeless sector for over 5 years in both micro and macro focused positions. He started as an advocate and case manager for victims of domestic violence. He then spent a year as a graduate research assistant for a firm that focused on public health research. On a macro level he managed the Single Adults Coordinated Entry System in Maricopa County and staffed the Maricopa County Homeless Management Information System (HMIS). Both of these positions involved working to develop systems that sought to make homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring through collaboration with stakeholders that include: Social service providers, medical professionals, mental health teams, emergency response systems, and more. He currently is the Manager of Community Navigation and Homeless Initiatives at Crisis Response Network focusing on data analysis and system planning, veteran and substance use programming and integration of social determinants of health into all lines of business. He has a Masters degree in Social Work and Public Administration and is committed to inspiring change through data driven decisions.
