Connie Ihde is the Director of Programs for Health Current, Arizona’s Health Information Exchange (HIE). She leads the statewide Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances (EPCS) Click for Control Campaign, a shared commitment between Health Current, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment (AHCCCS), Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and the Arizona Board of Pharmacy. In 2018, the EPCS Click for Control Campaign increased Arizona’s national ranking from 22nd to 11th and raised the state’s active EPCS prescriber count to 19% above the national rate.
