Chronic Disease Prevention Working Group
The purpose of the Good Health and Wellness in Indian Country (GHWIC) Chronic Disease Prevention Working Group (CDPWG) meeting is to provide technical assistance and resources for culturally adapted and evidence informed chronic disease prevention strategies for American Indians and Alaska Natives. The target audience for this meeting are health paraprofessionals (i.e. Community Health Representatives, Community Heath Workers, health educators) working within Tribal communities and organizations, including Urban Indian Organizations, who provide services or technical assistance to Tribes and Urban Indian communities in Arizona, Utah, or Nevada.
- Day 1 (March 24, 2020) – FY 2020 GHWIC Subgrantees ONLY
- Day 2 (March 25, 2020) – Open to all Phoenix-Tucson Indian Health Service Area Tribes and Urban Indian Organizations.
- Day 3 (March 26, 2020) – Open to all Phoenix-Tucson Indian Health Service Area Tribes and Urban Indian Organizations.
Subgrantee site coordinators are required to attend all three (3) days of the CDPWG meeting.
