At the Intersection of Aging and Transportation

Creating Healthy Communities

Join Age Friendly Arizona, AARP Arizona, the Federal Highway Administration and Vitalyst At the Intersection of Aging and Transportation. This free conference will explore how we can make a difference in the lives of those who are losing their capacity to connect with their medical care, their communities and their well-being.

A variety of national and statewide experts will come together to share data and dialogue on the impact of aging and access to transportation. Topics will include transportation’s role in keeping communities healthy, options for meeting mobility needs, strategies for improving access in underserved communities, the potential of technology, and a focus on what can be done now.

Be part of this convening that the Federal Highway Administration will tap for recommendations to incorporate into a national curriculum.
