Rebecca Ruiz, Sr. Program Coordinator, has been with the Center for Rural Health at the University of Arizona for over 25 years. Under the CRH, Ms. Ruiz coordinates the annual Arizona Rural Health Conference and the annual Arizona Rural & Public Health Policy Forum. Through the AZ State Office of Rural Health, she supports the Arizona 3RNet (Rural, Recruitment and Retention), a collaboration among the Center for Rural, the Arizona Department of Health Services and Arizona Association of Community Health Centers, to recruit organizations to post job openings as well as assist in placement. In support of offering continuing education credits for health professionals, Ms. Ruiz assists CRH staff with the continuing education process. She has served on the MEZCOPH Staff Advisory Council and was President in 2014. Finally, Ms. Ruiz, serves as a MEZCOPH coordinator for the UA Cares Campaign which supports student scholarship and community programs.
