AzCRH Education Intern

M. Arianna Price is a rising second year MPH student at the University of Arizona concentrating in Health Policy and Management. She received her B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University in December 2015. Arianna is currently an intern at the Arizona Center for Rural Health (AzCRH) where she is working on educational tools and outreach for Project SHARE (Students Helping Arizona Register Everyone) as a trained Navigator.
As an undergraduate student, Arianna researched Inflammatory Breast Cancer in the Devi Laboratory. She completed an honors thesis elucidating the pathobiology of the disease and depicting photographic narratives of women undergoing treatment in Durham, NC. Arianna previously interned with Educate Together in Ireland to review then current admissions policies and inform policy revision inclusive of mobile populations. Arianna has instructed youth on asthma management techniques in Southern Arizona as an Open Airways Instructor for the American Lung Association and has volunteered at the Duke University Children’s Hospital. Born and raised in Tucson, Arianna plans to apply to medical school and aspires to work with rural populations.
