Biography

Martha Moore-Monroy, MA, is the Rural Programs Manager at the Arizona State Office of Rural Health.  In addition, Ms. Moore-Monroy is the REACH Program Director, a lecturer at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health, and an adjunct faculty member at Prescott College. The primary focus of her professional career has been population health, women’s health, community health worker interventions, and the development of coalitions dedicated to the elimination of health disparities facing underserved populations. Ms. Monroy is the Southwest Regional Director for the National REACH Coalition Board of Directors and a member of the advisory board for the National Peers for Progress Initiative.  Ms. Monroy has served as a consultant and collaborator to a variety of university, community and non-governmental organizations focused on the elimination of health disparities.
