Ariel Hayes is a leader for Project SHARE and third year undergraduate student at the University of Arizona. She is pursuing dual degrees in Public Health and Gender & Women’s Studies. Ariel trained as a certified Navigator in the summer of 2016 and has been a SHARE Leader ever since. In January 2017, Ariel traveled to Washington, D.C. representing Project SHARE as a White House Healthy Campus Challenge winner due to our efforts on the UA campus and in collaboration with Campus Health. Ariel holds regular office hours in the UA Health Sciences Library helping Arizonans understand and enroll in health insurance. She also takes part in community education and outreach events to inform consumers about the services available while working to improve the health insurance literacy of those in the Tucson community.
