Arizona Meaningful Use Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR) to Public Health Technical Workshop

Objective

The purpose of this workshop is to provide technical guidance and resources for eligible hospitals and their vendors planning to implement Electronic Laboratory Reporting (ELR)
within the next six months to fulfill Meaningful Use criteria for laboratory reporting to Public Health. The workshop will provide key information on the Meaningful Use requirements, ELR transition process, AZ ELR Implementation Guide, vocabulary specifications, validation tools and additional knowledge that will help implementers successfully generate, validate and send HL7 messages that meet the federal and state requirements.

Participants

This workshop is intended for any hospital laboratory staff, IT/Informatics staff, and/or EHR Vendor staff who will be directly involved with ELR implementation in the next 6 months.
