Profile of Rural Health Clinics: Clinic & Medicare Patient Characteristics (March 2013)
This Findings Brief is the second in a series on RHCs which draws on a large, national secondary dataset that includesdata on all RHCs that bill Medicare. Using data extracted from 2009 Medicare outpatient provider claims, this Findings Brief presents a summary of the geographic distribution and clinic-level characteristics of RHCs, as well as an overview of the Medicare beneficiaries they served.

Rural America at a Glance (November 2014)
Rural America At A Glance, 2014 Edition highlights the most recent indicators of social and economic conditions in rural areas for use in developing policies and programs to assist rural areas. This year's edition focuses on the U.S. rural economy, including employment trends, poverty, education, and population trends.

Handbook for Rural Health Care Ethics: A Practical Guide for Professionals
(Dartmouth Medical School, 2009)
The Handbook For Rural Health Care Ethics uses a case-based approach to analyzing, solving and anticipating health care ethics dilemmas. The Handbook is authored by physicians, nurses, health-care ethicists, and hospital administrators who all had scholarship or expertise in rural ethics, and was funded by a grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Library of Medicine.
