The Coalition for Compassion and Justice (CCJ) delivers a comprehensive, non-clinical continuum of permanent supportive housing, emergency shelter intercepts, and material safety-net casework across Yavapai County, functioning under the Prevention, Harm Reduction, and Recovery Support pillars of the care continuum. Built to systematically eliminate severe socio-economic survival barriers for unhoused and low-income individuals, the 501(c)(3) organization coordinates vital resource lines across four physical locations:
- CCJ Main Office and Day Center - 505 W Gurley St, Prescott: handles centralized housing intakes, emergency food boxes, and public hygiene facilities
- Prescott Area Women's Shelter - 325 N Marina St: provides trauma-informed emergency night shelter
- CCJ Second Chance Housing complexes: provide permanent rapid re-housing arrays.
The network pairs its living spaces with zero-deposit walk-in policies, landlord navigation services, individual life-skills coaching, and direct case linking to local outpatient clinical clinical health homes.
