National Rural Health Day
National Rural Health Day allows the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health (NOSORH), State Offices of Rural Health (SORH) and partners to showcase Rural America and highlight the efforts of NOSORH, and others in addressing the unique healthcare needs of rural communities. Rural communities face accessibility issues, a lack of healthcare providers, growing percentages of underinsured citizens and other unique challenges.
Each year the Arizona Center for Rural Health joins the National Organization of State Offices of Rural Health in celebrating National Rural Health Day – the third Thursday of every November.
