When

8 a.m. – 5 p.m., July 25 – 26, 2022

Our Future in Mind is a Youth Mental Health Awareness Conference to help and support youth in navigating the challenges of today.

About this event

Our Future in Mind is a 2-day, in-person Event, for those working directly with children, teens and young adults. This includes public health staff, teachers and school staff, advocates, child counselors, nurses, parents, probation officers, and teens. Basically, anyone interested in youth mental health.

Childhood and adolescence is a time for young people to build a healthy start in life. Rates of our youth reporting poor mental health is increasing. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, young people have experienced anxiety, stress, substance use, suicide, and feelings of isolation. With students back in the classroom, there is a stronger awareness of the impact they are facing. Their education is being interrupted by these concerns.

This Conference brings in experts from different areas to address topics such as brain development, anxiety, and stress -- and many more mental health topics. By learning and understanding their concerns, we can better provide resources and support to these young people as they grow.

Join us for 2-days of learning, understanding, and making mental health a priority.
