Estefanía Mendivil (She/They) has been a member of the staff at the Arizona Center for Rural Health (AzCRH) since 2020. Since graduating with her Bachelor of Art degrees in Psychology and Latin American Studies, Estefanía transitioned from their student role as an Accessibility Coordinator to their current position as a Professional Community Outreach I. They serve their role at the Comprehensive Pain and Addiction Center (CPAC) and the Arizona Medication Assisted Treatment Mentors Program (AzMAT). Within CPAC, Estefanía focuses on a project called Project AzRORI: Arizona Rapid Opioid Response Implementation where they collaborate to create and disseminate education/ resource material that is culturally and linguistically responsive to healthcare providers of all backgrounds. Within AzMAT Mentors she is responsible for refocusing program material to be culturally and linguistically responsive and facilitates collaboration between providers. Estefanía is from Tijuana, Mexico, but has resided in Phoenix, Arizona most of their life. They hold a passion for building a world with more equitable health outcomes and compassion for all.
