Gabriela Sanchez

Gabriela Sanchez, MPH, is a Health Educator and Promotion Professional II at the University of Arizona, Center for Rural Health. Gabriela works as a certified health insurance navigator that aims to provide health insurance assistance from to people un rural and underserved areas across the state of Arizona. Gabriela is trained to assist potential consumers in Marketplace and Medicaid applications. The educational portion of the project is to educate communities about the importance of having health insurance, thus closing the gap on emergency family medical expenses.

Gabriela completed her graduate education at the University of Arizona with emphasis on health prevention and administration. Her aim is to find ways to provide quality resources for families that lack transportation and internet services.
