These webinars are presented by the Opioid Response Network. The first session is scheduled for one-hour on June 30 at 12:00 p.m. (AZ Time). The second session is scheduled for one-hour on July 28 at 12:00 p.m. (AZ Time). Each live session will have a 65–75-minute pre-recorded training which will be distributed on or around June 15 and July 11 respectively or upon registration. The webinar is open to anyone in Arizona. We are specifically looking for people who work in emergency, primary, and behavioral healthcare in Gila, Graham, and Mohave counties. This entire series has been approved for 4.0 CME/CEU, and 1 UA Spark DEI credit for each live webinar.
Topics covered include the following:
- Explore data on the impact of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) issues on health care access, experiences, and outcomes.
- Describe how social and structural determinants of health can explain disparities in disease prevalence and inequities in the recovery continuum.
- Outline individual, leadership, and organizational strategies for addressing racial equity.
